We're super excited to offer this coffee, as it marks our first collaboration with Osito and Long Miles Coffee, which we've been following for a long time and have been eager to work with!

After moving to Burundi in 2011 and witnessing both injustice and poor farming practices, Ben and Kristy Carlson decided to take upon coffee production by launching Long Miles Coffee with a farmer-driven business model. Over the years, they managed to improve the quality of coffees, and the lives of the farmers they work with by building new infrastructures, such as the Ninga washing station, offering year-round agriculture assistance, and promoting higher pay. Long Miles Coffee not only brings us beautiful micro-lots from Burundi, but offers a real impact at origin, and we can but only support their project!

This Bumba Hill lot is a beautiful expression of Burundian coffee. It's a traditionally washed red bourbon, grown at 1700m in the Bumba Hill, and processed at the Ninga washing station, built by Long Miles Coffee.

In the cup, you'll find a beautiful fruit-forward and clean coffee, with notes of nectarine and orange juice with a sweet dried cranberry and Earl Grey finish. A truly amazing coffee that shines both as espresso and filter coffee.

To make our coffees more accessible, at Boo! we decided to only produce omni roastThat means that all of our coffees are meant to be used both as espresso or filter coffee. Follow our recipes at the bottom to get the best result with each coffee!
